Monster: Phoenix
Description: A bird that looks like it's made of flames. It has the ability to masterfully use the fire element, and is almost immortal. When it dies it turns to ash, and if that ash is not placed in water or scattered over a decent distance they will revive from it. They are normally passive unless threatened or if someone gets too close to their nest.
Estimated Power: 50
Special Loot (if any): Phoenix feathers are very rare and very valuable. Since a Phoenix bursts into flames upon death their feathers get destroyed when they are defeated, and with them being on fire while alive. The feathers are beautiful which makes them sought after for decorative clothing, their feathers always emit a warmth, which makes the clothing made from them permanently warm. Their feathers also channel fire magic very well, empowering it a little. And to top it all off there is also a rumor that a potion exists, using phoenix feathers and ashes, to revive the dead if it is consumed within two minutes of someone's death. No reports on if that rumor is true or not though. Hunting a phoenix for its feathers is considered immoral by some people.
